General:

Refer to the Mission Statement to understand the nature of our funding awards.
Awards generally do not exceed $2,500.
Applications are submitted electronically.
Applications are reviewed bi-annually in February and July.
Unless other arrangements are made with the foundation, funds are allocated in two installments (beginning and completion of project).
Upon completion of the funded activity, the applicant is required to submit thorough documentation of the project and detailed financial accounting.
Robert Black Foundation Trust must be credited in all publications, print material, recordings, broadcasts, etc.: “This [project] was made possible with the support of the Robert Black Foundation Trust.”

Applicants are encouraged to request an amount that closely correlates to their stated needs, but should be aware that an award may differ from the amount requested.
